Michael Addison

Academic Director

Michael has many years of experience in Further and Higher education both as a Director and as a teacher of History and Politics. He was Principal of Albion College, London and was Director of Studies and Programme Director at other colleges, and has developed close links with academic and administrative staff at many UK universities. He is responsible for coordinating the development of all academic programmes, and ensuring that they meet the needs of all students. Michael holds an Honorary Doctorate degree as well as an MA in History and Politics.

Claire Leighton

Managing Director

Claire is passionate about promoting education in developing countries. She has a wealth of experience in the education industry both as Proprietress and Head of Accounts. She is actively involved in management and entrepreneurship training for corporate clients. She is responsible for coordinating the smooth delivery of all academic programmes and overseeing the activities of international centres / academies. Claire holds a degree in Accountancy as well an MBA, an MA in Education Management and Leadership, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management for Health and Social Care.

Bruce Duncan

Course Leader

Bruce is an Emeritus Professor and has vast experience as a teacher and lecturer in business related topics. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants and also of the International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language. His former appointments include Director of Studies at Albion College in London and lecturer at the French university, INSEEC. In addition to his full time posts, he also participates in management seminars throughout the world. Bruce has lectured in London, Lausanne, Dubai, Abuja, Accra, and Belize and is also a prolific writer of academic papers. His dynamic style of teaching and depth of knowledge make him a vital addition to the team

Andrew Hambler

Lead Trainer

Andrew is currently a senior lecturer at Birmingham City University. Previous to this position, he was a senior HR lecturer at the Department of Human Resources and Leadership, at the University of Wolverhampton. Prior to entering higher education in 2004, Andrew worked for many years for PricewaterhouseCoopers UK as a HR Consultant. Andrew has acted as an adviser to religious ethos organisations. His research has been quoted in national reports for the Equality and Human Rights Commission. Andrew is the lead trainer for our executive training and management workshops. Andrew is also interested in employment law questions more generally and has provided expert comment for the BBC on equal pay issues.

Paul Geddes


Paul studied History and Classical Studies double major at University of Otago, New Zealand. Paul is a highly experienced administrator and works closely with the Directors in all areas of our College activities and is a crucial member of the team
